Confident Dental Care & Implants Centre are named Best Dental Team by Private Dentistry Awards 2010

Our practice submitted the entry for ‘Best Dental Team’ in the Private Dentistry Awards in October and a few weeks later, were told we’d been shortlisted along with 14 other practices Nationwide.

Our table was booked for the awards at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane, London for the whole team (12 of us) and everyone donned their glad rags and we were shipped by taxi to the posh venue on Friday 5^th November. A record crowd of 500 people attended the smart event, creating an electric atmosphere as the cream of the private dental profession celebrated the presentation of awards that recognize the very best in private practice nationally.

Our name was called with the 14 others and everyone was very nervous, closely followed by elation as Confident Dental Care were announced ‘Best Dental Team’ 2010. Quite an achievement for a small business in Gloucestershire!

We really are thrilled to have received this award & it is made even more special being a Team trophy as everyone gives 110% to each & every patient that comes to our practice each day.

To put the icing on the cake, yesterday we passed our Denplan Excel accreditation with flying colours. Denplan Excel is an advanced Accreditation Programme for dentists to help support Clinical Governance and professional regulation. Being Denplan Excel Accredited demonstrates to our patients, staff and peers that we value high standards and that our practice follows effective processes for complying with these regulations. This year the focus was on the Dental team! Goes nicely hand in hand with our new award!

Confident Dental Care wins Stroud Life Award for ‘Health & Beauty Business of the Year’

Our team joined nearly 200 leading business people for the Stroud Life Awards held at the Five Valleys Conference and Leisure Centre at Forest Green Rovers’ New Lawn ground in Nailsworth on the evening of Wednesday 24th June 2009.

The Practice had entered the awards under the ‘Health and Beauty Business of the Year’, demonstrating our committment to maintaining and creating Healthy, Confident Smiles.

The ceremony was hosted after a delicious 3 course meal (all sourced from the Stroud district!) and we were kept very entertained by the hosts for the evening, Colin Bowden (Commercial Manager for the Stroud Life paper) and Editor Jason Chare.

We were up against a number of businesses including a local gym and well known hair dressers however, our name was called and we burst with excitement which turned a few heads to the back of the room! The atmosphere was excellent and we have been congratulated on our achievement by many who have read the paper since the event.

We are not only very proud to have been voted winners of this category, but feel we are achieving our goal in providing quality dentistry to the local community with the ability to offer state of the art procedures such as full smile designs and implants to the highest standard.
